We at Perspecta are currently seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect in Washington DC supporting our government customer- Public Trust

The Enterprise Architect ensures alignment of IT strategy and planning with Department goals and business needs. The role involves a strategic responsibility for project systems design, with the goal of promoting shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flow. The Enterprise Architect supports the development of policies, standards and guidelines.

* Ensures projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other, business, and IT strategies.


* Builds consensus based solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs.


* Performs risk management of information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.


* Ensures alignment of IT strategy and planning with Department goals.


* Performs optimization of information management through an understanding business needs and technology capabilities.


* Performs a strategic responsibility for project systems design.


* Promotes a shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flow


* Ensures projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other, business, and IT strategies.


* Builds consensus based solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs.


* Performs risk management of information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.


* Supports the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise.


The Enterprise Architect should have experience in the following:

* Support ATS Administrative and change control procedures, ITIL and ISSO 2000
* Microsoft Azure and or AWS frameworks, including PowerShell, Microsoft OPS tools: System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM), Service Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Operations Management Suite (OMS).
* Impacts and Responds to service requests, incidents, and request for change tickets. Analyze resolve and document resolution to tickets.
* Work closely with business users and IT specialists, as well as with outside vendors, to plan, deploy, and maintain applications, databases, and VMware.
* Work closely with project teams and customers to adhere to security policies and processes.
* Develop, update, and maintain technical and operational documentation.
* Develop and document O&M processes.
* Participate on project teams.
* Provide guidance and advice on improvements to environments, emerging technologies, and best practices.
* Plan, coordinate and execute O&M activities
* Support Monthly Application and database COOP drills

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree


* 10+ years experience
