Job Description

Centauri is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Engineer to support on of our customers in El Segundo, CA. The Air Force Space and Missile Center Remote Sensing Directorate (SMC/RS) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team in El Segundo, has an immediate need for an engineer with either some experience, or a Masters in Systems Engineering who can perform Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) product development for the RS Enterprise. Candidate will provide SE&I support to the SBIRS and Space Based Environmental Monitoring Enterprise programs in support of the Space and Missile Systems Center RS Directorate (SMC/RS).

EXPERIENCE:

Integrity Applications Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated space acquisition professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Developing architecture views in collaboration with external research organizations for various threat scenarios
Using MBSE principles to create models that support long term objectives, such a next generation missile warning system ground and space system implementation and capabilities
Updating, validating and maintaining an Enterprise architecture (Functional, Physical, Reference, Enterprise) in accordance with DoD Architecture Framework to meet Enterprise requirements in accordance with the systems engineering processes described in program's System Engineering Plan
Developing an Architecture Management Plan and creating Architecture Gap Analysis Reports
Utilizing Enterprise cost as an independent variable (CAIV) and schedule as an independent variable (SAIV) activities with elements and Prime Developmental Contractors (PDCs) to identify candidate trade studies and analyses for these activities
Analyzing and assessing selected lower-level architecture products from PDCs and other stakeholders to identify disconnects and verify interoperability between program system and subsystems with external agencies
Performing system architecture and system analysis using commercial tools (e.g., Satellite Tool Kit (STK) Matlab, Sparx EA, etc.) to optimize constellations, evaluate space-to-ground space-space communication links and perform design trades studies directly from the SysML model data source
Mining MBSE data models with cybersecurity analysis tools (network node-link-interface analysis) to evaluate potential vulnerabilities or assess effectiveness of architecture changes on resilience to cybersecurity threats

QUALIFICATIONS:

This individual must possess a BA/BS degree (graduate degree preferred) in Business, Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other related technical discipline
The candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant DoD space systems
Must be a strong, proactive individual who takes the initiative to identify, own, and solve customer problems
Must have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
Must have superior interpersonal, written, and communications skills with the ability to interface with different personalities in a range of positions, including many at very senior levels
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to independently execute work tasks in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
SQL programming competency

DESIRED SKILLS:

Advanced Degree in Science, Engineering, Math, or Business
AF Space Overhead Persistent Radar (OPIR) and Space-Based Environmental Monitoring (SBEM) level experience
Solid understanding of DoD acquisition life-cycle policies, processes and milestones
Experience with USAF Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) processes, procedures & compliance documents
Experience with Visual Basic or other programming languages

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Active Top Secret (Top Secret/SCI preferred) Clearance Required.
