Job Description

Enterprise Architect Sr.

Key Role:

Support a US government organization in designing and implementing their IT framework. Support and collaborate with organizational stakeholders and team members to determine organization goals in developing enterprise architecture (EA) artifacts. Develop and detail the integration touch points between EA and strategic planning and analysis. Analyze the development of an EA modernization roadmap, architecture product guide, and EA framework and methodology documents. Identify methodologies for integrating EA with performance, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), and portfolio management and develop and maintain an EA with functional views, including strategy, business, data, applications, infrastructure, and security. Upgrade, administer, and maintain an EA repository and documentation and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure a consistent framework is applied across the company. Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between components.

Basic Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience with enterprise or solution architecture
* 5+ years of experience with an EA framework, including DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF), or Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA)
* 3+ years of experience with EA modeling and visualization tools, including creating EA artifacts, such as capability, operational, system, data, and service views
* 2+ years of experience with developing and maintaining EA documentation
* Ability to leverage expertise in technical writing to develop an EA modernization roadmap
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with creating database (DB) schema, data dictionaries, and database design documentation a plus
* Knowledge of the certification and accreditation (C&A) process
* Knowledge of federated identity management and security aspects
* Knowledge of Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server a plus
* Ability to assist with the procurement of EA tools
* Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
