Position Overview:

Perspecta has an immediate need for an Enterprise Architect in Falls Church, VA.

* The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for leading the design of innovative and cost effective applications, infrastructure, and business process services solutions leveraging modern Cloud technologies that address the business and technology needs of our clients while helping to grow our business
* Merges industry point of view with broad technical knowledge to generate value propositions and approaches to solve client business challenges
* Engages consultatively with clients in order to draw out underlying business and technology issues, understand the client drivers, requirements, and to validate the solution options
* Works closely with sales, practice, and delivery leaders in order to determine the overall solution strategy and approach aligned to the client's business objectives and drivers
* Collaborates effectively with the appropriate business and delivery leaders to design the solution and agree on key solution parameters prior to costing activities
* Leads teams of solution professionals and subject matter experts in the development of integrated, cost-effective solutions that meet the client's requirement; maximizes Perspecta's competitive advantage; and comply with best practices and standards
* Establishes strong relationships with Perspecta partners and works with partners to drive high quality solutions and compelling value propositions
* Identifies and evaluates solution risks and creates strategies and plans to mitigate those risks
* Represents the solution during governance reviews and in reviews with senior management
* Assists in transition planning and handoff of the solution to delivery

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

* Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline, 5 years experience, 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
* Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with clients at the senior and executive management levels
* Demonstrated expert knowledge across a broad range of IT services and solutions, coupled with a strong customer focus and US Public Sector industry experience
* Demonstrated experience designing, building, or managing public, private, or hybrid cloud solutions for customers; a strong preference for Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure experience
* experience in successful consultative solution selling or large, complex opportunities and delivery or account management of large engagements
* Excellent verbal communications and writing skills
* Experience leading project teams of 5 to 10 individuals
