Job Description

Position Summary:

The Enterprise Architect works with Business stakeholders, Solution and Application architects and delivery teams to drive holistic technology implementation across the enterprise. This individual is responsible for leveraging technology to enable the organization's future-state business capabilities, which can enable or alter business processes or practices that, in turn, drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. This role facilitates architectural decisions through highly collaborative cross-functional architecture governance process. Responsible for practically applying existing, new, and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Provides strategic architectural guidance to business domains in defining or designing enabling technologies supporting business processes, functions and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing technology enablers supporting organizational priorities.
* Acts as a thought leader on emerging digital business models and technologies, articulating the digital future and the enterprise's role in it internally and externally.
* Drives enablement work supporting enterprise portfolio and program level Epics decomposition in collaboration with delivery teams.
* Identifies business drivers and anticipates future business and technology requirements.
* Creates enterprise architectural artifacts including: models, reference architectures and architectural patterns.
* Leads analysis of healthcare industry technology and market trends to determine their potential impact on the business outcomes.
* Leverages architecture governance process to provide IT and Business guidance for intentional architecture decisions.
* Leads and facilitates the creation of Business Functional Architecture, High-level Solution Definition, Conceptual Architecture (Layer Cake), Vendor Capabilities Assessment, Reference Architecture & Patterns.
* Participates in the definition and execution of the Enterprise Architecture Program roadmap.

Minimum Qualifications:

* 3 or more years' experience with enterprise, business and solution architecture domains
* Experience with Architectural Frameworks TOGAF
* 5+ years' hands on technical experience including integration and application architecture leveraging cloud deployments
* Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Outstanding verbal, written and visual presentation skills.
* Proven strong negotiating and consensus building abilities.
* Proven skills to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations.
* Structured thinker and effective communicator, comfortable with interacting with customers.
* Ability to work independently, establishing strategic objectives, project plans and milestone goals.
* Demonstrated leader capable of partnering / driving business and technology colleagues in establishing a highly functioning governance model.
* Experience with business process modeling
* Experience with delivering presentations
* Hands on Experience with Architectural Modeling tools
* Experience with MS productivity tools

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
* Health Care Experience (Payer, Provider, Service Provider)
* Experience with business architecture tools and techniques, including strategy on a page, strategic planning, business model canvas, disruptions and trends, risks and interdependencies, process models, business capability modeling, ecosystems modeling, customer and user profiling, journey maps, and design thinking
* Experience with Design Thinking framework
* Agile Experience (Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
* ITIL experience or certification
