Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Engineering manager to join our Digital Business Platforms team.

As the ideal candidate, you have led teams in execution and delivery on projects primarily on SAP S4HANA in the Finance space. You should have demonstrated a deep, hands on experience with experience in end to end implementations. You should have expert knowledge in modern cloud technologies like SAP Cloud Platform, HaaS and are in tune with industry trends. You should be comfortable in an agile environment and know how to build a highly effective team. Most of all, you can inspire a team to do great things.

Responsibilities

* Manage a team of functional analysts and developers responsible for Autodesk's Digital Business Platforms.
* Own your team's technical strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with other engineering and product managers
* Be a visionary and propose, drive improvements to the S4HANA platform, HANA DW and SAP Cloud Platform.
* Work with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture and help drive decisions
* Build collaborative partnerships with the Software Architects, Technical leads, Product Managers and key individuals within other functional organizations
* Build and foster a high-performance culture, mentor team members and provide your team with the tools and motivation to make things happen

Minimum Qualifications

* Experienced in SAP tech stack specifically S/4 HANA (1610, 1709) ; HANA DW 2.0, SAP Cloud platform and Integrations to Ariba and Concur systems.
* Previously managed teams of engineers with ownership of high scale development and production systems
* Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issues both from a business and technical perspective
* Prior domain experience with Record to Report or Procure to Pay and Financial Reporting.
* Exposure to and one or more of the tech stack and tools that includes Amazon Web Services Apigee API Gateway, Salesforce CRM, Heroku, Tibco, Jenkins, Splunk and NewRelic.
* Expert experience with Scrum and agile development processes and methodologies
* Excellent communication and written skills
* BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
