What you will do at Lutron- Ketra

* Architect stable, efficient, scalable systems upon which world-class embedded software applications can easily be built
* Design maintainable, elegant, lasting solutions to meet a wide variety of requirements and feature sets while working closely with a team of highly skilled and passionate engineering professionals
* Use your excellent communication skills to engage cross functional teams while solving complex problems with skill, enthusiasm, and creativity
* Maintain a customer-focus in all design considerations
* Ensure a high standard of quality in your own work and in the work of others on your team via good development practices, process improvements, clean designs, smart testing and thorough review
* Balance a variety of priorities and tasks related to: requirements gathering, user interface design, software architecture, software development and verification, trouble-shooting, and software maintenance

If so, Lutron is looking for candidates with the following criteria:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics, or Math, with at least a 3.0 GPA
* Strong understanding of embedded software/hardware development fundamentals
* Demonstrable knowledge of object oriented design, design patterns, good programming techniques, real-time schedulers
* Willingness to travel - go to corporate headquarters to touch base with team members and conduct reviews , visit and troubleshoot job sites, oversee manufacturing at other facilities, take offsite training courses, showcase your new product to a customer
* Hands-on attitude and strong work ethic
* Ability to take direction from others while also being able to work independently
* Self-starting, inquisitive, flexible, multi-tasking
* Experience in some of these technical areas: device driver development including SPI, UART, I2C, ADC, protocol development, JIRA/GIT/Bitbucket tools, Real Time Embedded Systems, debugging using emulators & oscilloscopes, C, C++, control circuits using 8/32 bit ARM-based processors
