Candidate, under the direction of a lead engineer, supports system testing and evaluation tasks and activities to include: software kit installations, system testing, documents failure reports, maintains system testing environment, and performs system operations, and support hardware installation and cabling. Creates drawings, blueprints and diagrams.

Provides entry level technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation and drawings. Conducts preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data.

Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret Level.

Basic Qualifications:

Good working knowledge of Windows based systems and Microsoft products.

Good communication skills as the candidate will be working with a large Engineering Teams across the Manassas site

Good organization skills

Detail oriented behavior is needed to follow security procedures for handling optical media that will be audited

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint.

Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of new skills, tools

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with Linux operating systems

Familiarity with virus scanning products

Ability to optimize detailed procedures to improve productivity and turnaround time

Experience with software installation and testing.

Positive attitude and a learning orientation.
