Job Description

REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering plus at least 5 years of relevant experience. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: At least 5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails; At least 2 years of experience with Apache Cassandra and Apache Spark; Working knowledge and at least 1 year experience with the Clojure programming language; Must have experience with MySQL and Redis; At least 1 year of experience in assembling and leading a team of highly skilled software engineers; Must have an ability to perform quality assurance and data integrity checks; Must have experience in auditing information security and data privacy; Must have excellent analytical skills; Thorough understanding of advanced relational database concepts, including physical and logical database design. JOB DUTIES: Conducting research of all available data sources; Implementing various data aggregations and data stream processing using Clojure and Spark; Implementing and delivering prototypes; Conducting research and development of various platform components; Interviewing potential candidates for various software engineering positions to join our growing team; Overseeing the design of database schemas using Cassandra and Postgre SQL; Conducting research and development of existing client products to improve product's market potential; Conducting research and evaluation of technologies used to implement client projects; Overseeing and evaluating the performance of various software engineers on our team.
