Engineering Trainee

Gaming Laboratories International is a growing company with over 27 years of experience in providing world-class testing, certification and professional services to the global gaming industry. The Engineering department at Gaming Laboratories International ensures quality measures to test software designs that impact the products and services in the Gaming & Lottery industries. The Engineering Trainee is a key member of the Engineering test team that identifies potential problems and defects, ensuring product compliance. This position utilizes attention to detail and product and regulatory knowledge to evaluate a wide variety of evolving products in the gaming industry.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Develops an understanding of technical requirements pertaining to electronic gaming devices


* Learns the proper operation and function of various electronic gaming devices


* Properly executes test scripts


* Tests electronic gaming machines to various regulatory standards


* Documents and communicates test results to internal and external clients


* Utilizes various internal tools used for project tracking and management


* Performs other duties as assigned



Experience, Education, Skills and Credentials:

* High School Diploma or GED Equivalency


* Valid Driver's License required


* Knowledge of C++, C#, Java or other similar programming language is preferred but not required


* Working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Word and Excel required


* Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently


* Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and Mandarin is preferred


* Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, correctness and deadlines.


* Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team and clients


* Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation
