Job Role: Field Test EngineerLocation: Redmond, WAMobility Network Services knowledge¿ Good understanding of LTE and IMS network¿ Should understand the LTE and VoLTE network topology and core service network functions (IMS will be added advantage)¿ SIP signaling across IMS core ¿ should be able to analyze Wireshark trace¿ Should be able to grasp Call flows and ensure the right environment is tested¿ Ability to document test results accurately¿ Ability to communicate defects, issues and problems in simple technical detailTest Execution¿ Should be able to perform testing services with Handsets in different states/areas of coverage¿ Configure Smartphone for specific services¿ APN Settings other settings on Android and IoS¿ Upgrade firm ware if required¿ Set smartphone handsets in working order¿ Grasp functioning of applications¿ Knowledge of differentiating RAN capabilities, Coverage Area¿ recognize operating bands¿ Knowledge of Mobility network elements other RAN, EPC and VoLTE¿ Functional level not in detail¿ Should be able use tracing tools ¿ capture network traces¿ Take Mobile Handset traces and Network traces when required¿ Identify/troubleshoot basic handset issues¿ Should have good communication skills¿ Should be ready to travel to different parts of the US and pacific territories¿ Report accurately the tests performed and communicate issues, Pass/Fail etc.
