DUTIES: Contribute to teams responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting internal and customer-facing field tech applications, as well as applications that gather outage-data' for the company; develop, test, and debug internal applications utilizing Java, Oracle, and NoSQL databases, and Remedy custom built platforms in an Agile development environment; enable continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) of software code, using Remedy Developer Studio, SQL editor, Oracle SQL Developer, Beyond Compare, SecureCRT, GoCD, LogAnalyzers, HP QC, telnet/ssh, custom scripting, documentation and requirements tools, Rally, ItelliJ, Kibana/ Grafana and other metrics dashboards; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; identify, reproduce, and document software defects; develop software update processes for existing applications; assist in the roll-out of software releases; develop software test strategies and quality assurance practices, ensuring inspection, testing, and evaluation of software are performed accurately; perform unit testing, including automating unit testing and incident triage; support production environments by performing code reviews; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; and review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; and two (2) years of experience developing, testing, and debugging Remedy custom built platform applications utilizing Java and Oracle, and NoSQL databases, in an Agile development environment; and using Remedy Developer Studio, SQL editor, telnet/ssh, custom scripting, Rally, Grafana, and Kibana.
