Apttus is seeking a customer-facing Engagement Manager to oversee customer implementations of Apttus' Salesforce.com based Quote-to-Cash suite of products, including Configure Price Quote, Contract Management, Revenue and Rebate Management, and additional related solutions. The position is highly visible within Apttus and to our clients. This is an individual contributor position, with the responsibility of managing matrixed project team(s) in mixed-shore model. This position reports to the Director / Sr Director of Professional Services.
* Provide oversight and governance to enterprise customer implementations of Apttus solutions * Lead and drive a matrixed team of Solution/Technical Architects, Business Analysts, Configuration Engineers, Developers, Testers, etc, towards successful delivery of a customer project * Direct the activities of the Apttus project teams, for multiple projects at a time * Build and maintain the customer relationship through the implementation cycle * Publish internal and customer project status reports * Own and drive regular steering committee meetings with customer and Apttus execs, for assigned projects * Manage all project escalations including internal and customer-related * Foster cross-functional working relationship with Product Management / Engineering teams * Actively seek to optimize resource utilization and project margin / billability / timelines targets * Execute and ensure adherence to Apttus' AIM Project Methodology Gold Standards * Participate in pre-sales activities and internal initiatives as required * Embrace and manifest Apttus values: Integrity, Accountability, Transparency, Empathy
Required Skills / Experience:
* At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field * Minimum 8 years' experience in managing enterprise-level projects for a SaaS company (CRM, QTC, CPQ, CLM, SRM, ERP, P2P, SCM, etc), in program / project management capacity * Awareness of web, database, object-oriented software technologies, and com platform * Fluent with MS Project, Visio, and MS Office * Excellent communication skills with strong customer-facing acumen * Familiarity with CRM and Quote to Cash domain * Familiarity with business process engineering * Strong ability to lead a team, and influence without authority * Proven ability to form and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers * Ability and willingness to work in a mixed-shore model with significant number of offshore resources * PMI and/or Agile Scrum certifications are strongly preferred * MBA or Master's in related field is preferred, but not required * Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
