Position Overview

The Autodesk Employee Communications Team is on a mission to inform, engage and enable Autodesk employees worldwide. We are obsessed with telling stories that drive action and we serve as global advocates for the company's Culture Code. We collaborate with internal communications professionals and business leaders across the company to create and curate communications that keep employees engaged and focused on the company's strategic priorities.

As the Technology Lead for the Employee Communications team at Autodesk, you will provide essential leadership and support for key employee communications channels, helping the team execute on our communications strategy for the company. This is an individual contributor role in Autodesk's People & Places organization, reporting to the Director of Employee Communications.

Responsibilites

* Lead and manage technical aspects of the CEO Town Hall and other senior executive webcast programs
* Stay informed about webcasting platform updates and stay up to date as new features and benefits are released
* Manage All Employee webcast outreach and distribution
* The company Intranet features daily news, tools and other content useful to employees and serves as the portal to Autodesk department web sites. Ensure that content and features work well; evolve and develop features and functionality. Coordinate with the IT organization for end user support
* SharePoint evolution. Provide support in building SharePoint solutions (pages/sites/features/lists/reports) to ensure optimal value for campaigns and content channels
* Additional projects that Employee Communications leads or partners with, such as internal organizations and stakeholders (e.g., Brand & Public Relations; Enterprise Information Services [IT] and Human Resources)
* In addition, you will proactively research, recommend and help implement new/emerging intranet, SharePoint, web design and webcasting platform features, technologies and solutions to ensure the ongoing high quality of Employee Communications' work

Minimum Qualifications

* 3 years or equivalent of web publishing experience (HTML, SharePoint, etc.)
* 3 years of experience or equivalent as webmaster/site administrator of company intranet
* Expertise in intranet technologies and features, intranet governance and best practice models
* Expert SharePoint management skills including: permissions, site creation, site metrics;
* InfoPath for customized forms; creating lists and libraries; etc.)
* Strong SharePoint design skills and graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
* Expertise in audio/video production and webcast production/engineering (Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Zoom, wirecast, etc.)
* Knowledge and experience with audio/video hardware (cameras, microphones, audio/video mixers, webcams, connections, compatibility)
* Strong expertise designing web solutions for Mac and Windows operating
* systems and software, including mobile devices
* Well-versed in Microsoft-hosted environments
* Strong editorial skills (writing/editing copy)

Preferred Qualifications

* Understanding of Autodesk's business and industries
* Experience working in software or technology industry for a matrixed, multinational corporation preferred
