Overview

Amyx, Inc. is seeking an e-Discovery Specialist to be located in Washington, DC, for the eDiscovery team that will support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Division of Enforcement(ENF) The SEC has four primary goals: 1) detect possible violations of the securities laws and regulations (including fraud); 2) foster strong compliance and risk management practices; 3) monitor risk; and 4) provide the SEC with information about the industry's compliance and the implementation of rules and laws. The work environment will be dynamic, fast-paced and the candidate must demonstrate a strong customer service presence with SEC and contractor staff

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Daily Tasks:

Duties will consist of receiving and processing eDiscovery artifacts and sensitive materials on the behalf of examiners using the tools currently in use or projected for the eDiscovery team, including automated systems.

* Administer Axcelerate 4.7 cases/application instances across several Recommind PODs and projects. Create and maintain Axcelerate workspaces, applications, and data source requests from SEC staff.
* Monitor and manage resource usage across the SEC's architecture to meet performance expectations and data loading service level agreements.
* Provide second tier issue identification, diagnosis, and resolution for SEC staff and the onsite Amyx data loading team. Assist in the troubleshooting of complex ESI and CSV data loads from initial ingestion to end-user review.
* Troubleshoot failed Axcelerate index engines and applications, identify and assess Axcelerate logs to identify and document Recommind application issues. Escalate and monitor Recommind application-specific issues and bugs to SEC stakeholders.
* Respond to problem reports and questions from the SEC Litigation Support Specialists.

Qualifications

* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting or related experience.
* 1 - 3 years eDiscovery support, troubleshooting skills, and problem solving with attention to detail to track, manage, and support SEC eDiscovery platform.
* Review and provide analysis of delimited/structured data as well as ESI (Electronically stored information) data. To ensure all records have properly extracted and all exceptions are either noted or handled according to specified guidelines.
* Build and configure structured Concordance databases to review and validate the integrity and correctness of delimited data.
* Import/merge endorsed images, loading files, text files and natives into a Recommind environment.
* Ability to use Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Access) skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to manage multiple projects.
* Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
* Exceptional analytical, logical, and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
* U.S. citizenship preferred
* Ability to complete a SEC background clearance
