Job Description

Allsteel, an industry leader in office furniture design and manufacturing, and a top brand in the HNI Corporation enterprise, is in search of a E-Business Developer to join our team in Muscatine, IA!

As an E-Business Developer, you will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain E-Business applications aligned to the strategy and goals of Allsteel. This includes writing code, testing and analyzing software programs and applications in the areas of design & specification (CET, Revit, and SketchUp), as well as website applications (.NET, Drupal, Magento). You will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.

Some of the essential aspects of the position include:

* Code for automation of business functionalities including enhancements and modifications to existing applications.
* Manage and develop rules for electronic catalogs, rendering programs, Revit, SketchUp, and Configura that support product and program launches.
* Collaborate with specification and rendering software vendors to develop the most efficient code for specification and rendering.
* Define new functionality required by dealers and internal members to support the selling and design processes.
* Troubleshoot for root cause and implement solutions.
* Evaluate and recommend technology solutions aligned to Allsteel strategies.
* Develop strong customer satisfaction via metrics, deliverables, alignment with business initiatives, and active feedback.
* Develop and manage project timelines.
* Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

What it takes:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
* Java, .NET, or other C based programming languages required.
* Experience with CET (Configura) CM language/platform preferred.
* Web development experience preferred.
