Description:

The candidate will be supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) International Programs Office on the Systems Engineering and Integration for the NSG (SEIN) Program. The candidate will perform engineering assessments of current and future customer systems.

Specifically, the candidate will establish new business and technical relationship models to fully enable customer's solution integration within the ASG.

Provide strategic technical planning, project management, and risk management for customer systems. Design to-be collaboration process/technology architecture and create high-level to-be collaboration use cases, along with providing technical and programmatic guidance and transition support. Ensure that system requirements are aligned with the development of production systems and compatible with the defined ASG architectures and interoperability with the NSG systems. Lead/participate in occasional VTCs/teleconferences with partner nations outside normal working hours. Must be willing to perform OCONUS travel to partner nations. Perform other systems engineering tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or similar technical discipline.
* Master's degree in software engineering, computer science or systems engineering.
* 16+ years system engineering or system development experience or equivalent experience/combined education, with a minimum of 10 years of IC or DOD experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge of system engineering processes specifically in requirements engineering and system/subsystem architecture.
* Progressive experience with emphasis in systems engineering applications, architecture, design, development, and interconnectivity spanning multiple technology areas.
* Leads other disciplines, interfaces with internal leaders, chief engineers and other resident experts to accomplish project objectives.
* Prior work experience giving technical briefs or presentations after synthesizing or generating technical materials from multidisciplinary sources.
* Knowledge in modern information technology (IT) concepts such as, cloud computing, machine learning and cybersecurity capabilities to affect change or seek to explore new ideas and technologies to enable effective communication and collaboration with partners.
* Ability to assess requirements, evaluate tools/technologies or design approaches; and communicate business case justifications for implementing enterprise capabilities.
* Strong written, verbal communications skills and oral presentations.
* Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
* Active TS/SCI Clearance
* Willing to travel OCONUS

Desired Qualifications:

* Exposure to NGA Production and Exploitation Management segments/services/systems and projects including the GEOINT Workflow, Library Services, and/or Foundation GEOINT.
* Ability to visualize system functionality, to create block diagrams, and to analyze system performance
* Ability to analyze issues and define solutions
* Ability to perform trade studies to optimize system performance
* Experience using relevant architecture tools (e.g. CAMEO, Magic Draw, DOORS Next Gen, and System Architect).
* Knowledge of the NGA acquisition process and RFC process to include RFC preparation.
