Responsibilities

* Provide technical expertise in all aspects of Azure Commercial and Gov Cloud and act as subject matter expert for the Athoc Division for Networking and Voice Systems
* End to End support for critical Alert Delivery Applications and Mobile application in production cloud environment and Azure specifically for SIP call delivery and associated applications
* Deployment of application, upgrades, and changes to platform capacity
* Responsible for maximizing system uptime and availability, ensuring functional and performance SLAs
* Responsible for establishing end-to-end monitoring and alerting Voice Delivery Applications to ensure SLA compliance and proactive notifications
* Development of an automation program for applications in Delivery and Mobile
* Creation of playbooks to run when responding to alerts or incidents
* Initiate and lead scripting and automation to streamline system updates and upgrades
* Work with cloud operations team to resolve trouble tickets, developing and running scripts, and troubleshooting in a hosted environment
* Planning for disaster recovery and capacity growth.
* Works closely with cloud engineering team on product deployment models, testing and escalations.
* Works well independently and requires little or no supervision

Qualifications and Skills Required:

* Relevant/related experience: Minimum 10 years with a BS/BA or 8 years with a MS/MA.
* 5 years' experience at a senior engineering level in Networking and Telecommunications specifically in Cisco Call Manager design and deployment
* 3 years' working design and deployment knowledge of Azure Cloud, Azure Gov Cloud a plus
* Extensive knowledge of Software defined networks, application gateways, and load balancing as it applies to both private cloud (Cisco/F5 preferred) and Azure Cloud
* 3-5 years' experience with DNS and DNS services specifically a deep understanding of DNSSEC
* Deep understanding of Express Routes in Azure Cloud
* History of understanding, supporting, and troubleshooting application level systems, communications, and performance issue in cloud in a multi-tiered architecture
* 3-5 years' experience with network controls related to PCI/DSS or FedRamp or an understanding of FIPS and NIST standards
* Familiarity with SolarWinds, OpsGenie, Site 24x7 or other monitoring systems
* Experience with CDR applications and packet analysis associated with SIP call analysis
* Demonstrated technical competency in 2 or more of the following areas

Windows Server

Advance Knowledge of SMTP and mail relays

PowerShell or JSON or Python or other applicable language

Deployment automation frameworks (Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins)

* Excellent troubleshooting and analytics skills
* Ability to use MS Office Tools specifically MS Excel, Visio, Project
* Practical understanding or certification in ITIL V2 or V3 Foundations
* Team player who works well in collaborative fast paced environment.
* US Citizen/Green Card holder

This positons requires a self-starter willing to quickly learn portions of the AtHoc application suite and overall architecture specifically related to Azure networking, Voice Systems and traditional Cisco powered networks.
