What We're Looking For…

An upbeat, outgoing, and motivated Project Controls Intern who will work with the team responsible for providing planning and scheduling support to the Disneyland Resort Design & Engineering (D&E) project teams and management. This individual will assist in compiling reports on project and departmental finances, resource demand & capacity, and project schedules, as well as assist with future project planning and participate in the implementation of a new Project Management Information System (PMIS).

Internship Eligibility:

* Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
* Must not have already completed one consecutive year of employment on a Disney internship or program
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must possess unrestricted work authorization
* Must provide full work availability
* Must possess a valid US driver's license
* Must be compliant with The Disney Look
* Must provide own transportation to/from work
* Current Active Disney Cast Members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World Cast Members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland Cast Members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)

Location of position: This position has opportunities in Anaheim, CA

Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are August 2019 - January 2020. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.

Housing: You must be able to provide your own housing for this internship.

Responsibilities

You Will…

Under the direct guidance of the Project Controls team:

* Assist in compiling reports on project and departmental finances, resource demand & capacity, and project schedules, including working with D&E Cast Members and other partners to assure all project data is correct and properly entered into the new Project Management software system
* Assist with future project planning
* Participate in the implementation of a large-scale software program affecting more than 1000 users
* Assist Project Controls Team in performing administrator duties for the Project Management Information System, including learning how the system is configured and how it functions, performing Project and System administrator duties, training and helping other Cast Members who have questions, creating documentation, and more
