Do you want to be a part of a team that feels like a startup inside a big organization? We are looking for a hand on tech leader who is interested in building and leading software teams. As the Director for Digital Wallet, your responsibilities will include envisioning and building a Digital Wallet that will leapfrog the adoption of our digital products across the wide 7 Eleven ecosystem. You will build and lead a team of engineers, as well as partner with product, UX and other engineering teams. This position requires out of the box thinking to create and design retail systems of the future. Bring insatiable hunger to learn and challenge status quo, everyday! As a Director of Software Development for Digital Wallet, you will be a part of the larger technical leadership community within 7-Eleven. Along with your peers, you will play a key role in business planning, working closely with executives to develop product goals and resource requirements, and influence long-term product strategy.

Qualifications

▶You bring

* Bachelor's Degree
* Knowledge of payment industry and risk management.
* Hands on knowledge of programming languages like Java, JavaScript and Python.
* Familiarity of relational and noSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.
* Experience designing and implementing customer facing web and mobile applications.
* Experience with mobile development including knowledge of Android and iOS platform.
* Knowledge of ReactJS and React Native is a plus.
* Experience building and deploying applications on cloud (AWS experience preferred).
* Strong leadership skills focused on conflict management, communication, and talent development.
* Demonstrated experience in process development and management.
* Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques.
* Expert written and verbal communication skills.
