Plans, organizes and directs strategies to address long range and short term systems and data analytic needs to support Foundation goals and objectives and fulfill fundraising and constituent relationship goals. Collaborates in the preparation of strategic plans, including systems and analytic framework that supports Foundation strategy. Manages initiatives that impact business outcomes through business intelligence, data warehousing, reporting and analytics solutions. Serves as a technical resources and partners with senior leadership and peer management to ensure proper planning to address data delivery and reporting requests.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Plans, organizes and manages systems and end user support for various database applications and systems including but not limited to suite of Blackbaud technology (Raiser's Edge (NetCommunity, Sphere, Custom Friends asking Friends), and advanced reporting tools.

2. Supports the creation and dissemination of systems, tools, applications, interfaces, and integration to support organizational fundraising initiatives and priorities.

3. Works with Development leadership to understand, strategize and executes data and reporting needs for capital campaigns, principal gift, major gift, annual gift, planned gift, alumni fundraising, the grateful patient program, prospect research and management and new initiatives.

4. Develops and maintains reports and analytical tools for fundraising performance indicator tracking and strategic decision-making.

5. Facilitates, monitors, directs and partners with IT in controlling data storage systems activities within the Healthcare System in order to address organizational needs and technology trends.

6. Provides strategic insights and best practices recommendations on system operation, data collection and delivery. Develops and streamlines business processes, makes recommendations to optimize resources.

7. Develops and implements short and long-range plans to sustain and improve fundraising system infrastructure. Works with software vendors and IT department on maintenance and upgrades.

8. Participates in program and campaign readiness assessments. Develops and compiles quarterly statistics to Foundation leadership. Monitors data input and output volume for adequate resource allocation.

9. Maintains comprehensive documentation on business processes, end user training manuals and training/troubleshooting plans and post-training/troubleshooting user feedback.

10. Monitors and improves accuracy and integrity of data by establishing and executing a data audit and append schedule. Identifies areas within fundraising infrastructure where data cleaning and normalization are needed.

11. Partners with Development Systems and Prospect Research teams, provides technical support, and enhances data integrity and reporting.

12. Performs related duties, as required.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree, required. Master's Degree, preferred.
* Minimum of seven (7) years progressively responsible experience in Information Systems related to fundraising, required.
* Experience with major fundraising database systems such as Raiser's Edge.
* Experience implementing results of electronic donor screening and segmenting initiatives.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills, and ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
* Familiarity with relational databases and ability to design reports from databases, including but not limited to Crystal, SQL and data visualization tools.
* Knowledge of current trends in fundraising (including benchmarking and metrics).
