Summary

The Digital Platforms Manager will handle the day-to-day operations of Kia.com, Kiadealers.com, and Chatbots including but not limited to the Owners and CPO sections, all of the DMG (Tier 2) websites, as well as all SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and content strategy related to these sites. This role will be responsible for the launch integrations of new vehicles and model year changeovers, as well as support all marketing campaigns, sales events, upcoming vehicles, partnerships, incentives publishing, etc.

The role is also responsible for gathering analytics related to site operations, chatbots, and digital media performance as it relates to the web sites (both Tier 1 & 2), and support of business insights for multiple Kia departments such as Sales & Incentives Performance, Corporate Planning & Analysis, and Product Planning.

Furthermore, the position also requires extensive planning and production of marketing content, such as product demonstration videos, campaign videos, infographics, and all CGI (computer generated imaging) vehicle imagery for vehicle interiors and exteriors.

This role will lead a staff of contractors, a primary web agency partner, an SEO agency, and multiple support partners, as well as to liaise with global headquarters on special Marketing-related IT projects, and will serve as the primary Kia stakeholder for the HAEA e-business team.

Major Responsibilities

Priority 1st - 50%

* Overall Responsibility of Managing Kia Web Platform Operations and SEO

Priority 2nd - 10%

* Work with HAEA (Kia's IT) on Marketing Projects, Priorities and Resources

Priority 3rd - 15%

* Manage development of all site content, inclusive of CGI, copy, etc. for use in Photo, Video, and Simulation Assets

Priority 4th - 15%

* Web Site Strategy & Analytics

Priority 5th - 10%

* Budget and Legal Management

Education/Certification

* Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required
* Post Graduate Degree preferred

Overall Experience

* 8+ years overall experience
* Minimum 5 years managing and directing third party agencies and consultants

Directly Related Experience

* Minimum 6 years Digital/Internet experience. Client side experience preferred
* Automotive OEM experience is a plus
* Minimum 3 years Content Marketing experience
* Website analytics and data interpretation
* Experience working with Omniture and/or Google Analytics Suite
* Budget Management experience
* Experience with and knowledge of other digital channels including; affiliate, email, mobile, social and display.

Ability to understand how data flows from legacy systems (SAP, Kiwi) into web applications (kia.com, kiadealers.com)

Ability to faciliate an RFP and navigate through a vendor selection process

Ability to generate creative briefs and provide creative development guidance

Strong project management and organizational skills

Excellent communication skills required (written and oral)

Well organized, with the ability to complete projects as assigned

Ability to adapt to change of priorities, and working in a fast paced environment
