DevOps Systems Engineer

* Location: Centreville, VA
* Clearance: Active Top-Secret Clearance
* Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline or comparable work experience
* Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in a related field that may include DevOps responsibilities

Position Overview

As a DevOps Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:

* Design, develop, and maintain a DevOps framework to support automation and deployment of operational capabilities
* Develop both customer and team documentation of the DevOps process
* Perform maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting
* Provide technical support and training to project team and customer

Required Qualifications

* Experience with distributed architectures including Linux (RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu, etc)
* Experience with build automation technologies (Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, etc.)
* Experience with automated configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
* Experience with virtualization (vSphere, ESXi, KVM, vCommander)
* Experience with systems utilizing RESTful Interfaces (REST APIs)
* Linux scripting (Bash, Python, Gawk, Perl, Groovy, etc.)
* Experience with Artifact binary repository management (Nexus, Artifactory, etc.)
* Experience with source code repository tools and services (GIT, Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket, etc)
* Experience with Agile development practices
* Top Secret security clearance
* Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline or comparable work experience
* 5+ years of experience in a related field that may include DevOps responsibilities

Desired Qualifications

* Software programming experience with C, C++, Python, Java
* Experience with providing solutions on a closed network
* Experience with the Atlassian product suite (Confluence, JIRA)
* Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
* Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc)
