DevOps Engineer, Junior

As a DevOps engineer on our team, you'll use your development experience to streamline our software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best - innovate. You'll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build your experience with using the latest open source Cloud tools, including Kubernetes and Docker and expanding automation using modern techniques and languages while developing software that will improve citizens access to government services. You Have:

* 1+ years of experience with software system design, development, integration, and testing
* Experience with scripting languages, including Bash and Python
* Experience with creating and consuming RESTful Web services
* Experience with project build tools, including Jenkins or Travis
* Experience with Agile methodology and software development
* BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

* Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
* Experience with Java, PHP, or JavaScript
* Experience with frameworks, including Express, ReactJS, or GraphQL
* Knowledge of software design and enterprise integration patterns
