Job Description

Summary

Will design, deploy, and monitor our scalable SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure leveraging automation technology; develop and maintain the infrastructure in Azure; perform network administration, including VPN configuration; provision, configure, and deploy services required to support QPID solutions; build or integrate tools that enhance systems operations; monitor and tune system performance; perform Linux Systems administration; integrate security at layers of deployments; support development processes, including management of development environments, build and continues integration services to aid and enhance QA and Development.

Minimum Experience Required

* B.S.Computer Science or information systems
* 5 years of experience in software development with a results-oriented track record or
* MS Degree and two years of experience in network administration, programming, scripting, backup and restoring procedures.
* Experience must include work with a configuration management system such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
* Experience must include work with agile development methodologies
* Experience with SCM tools such as Maven, Git, and Jenkins.

Required Skills

* Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus
* Python, Ansible
* Familiarity with: Red Hat WildFly, Apache HTTP Server
* Familiarity with: Postgre SQL, AWS
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas, designs, and issues
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Ability and willingness to take ownership of projects, and help drive them to effective implementation
* Experience implementing/supporting secure systems with sensitive information
* Computer Networking, including VPNs
