DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Create, manage and maintain development, test and staging environments
* Initiate and lead scripting and automation to streamline system updates and upgrades
* Work with the team of engineers to debug and remediate production issues
* Work closely with Development and IT Infrastructure groups to achieve goals listed above
* Manage infrastructure to monitor and report on health and performance of production systems
* Responsible to automate, develop, and perform software builds and source control management.

Qualifications:

* BS / BA in Computer Science, engineering, information systems or related field
* 5+ years' experience in a related capacity
* Fluent in creating utilities and tools using scripting languages such as Power Shell, Perl, Bash and Python
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Team City, Octopus, Puppet and Chef
* Experience with source control systems (Git and SVN).
* Experience with build tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)
* Strong communications, organization and project management skills
* Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment to attain goals
* Possess a professional demeanor
* Working knowledge of Windows OS and Oracle administration
* Basic knowledge of VMware; VM management and provisioning
* Strong development background a plus
