Job Tile: Sr. DevOps Engineer Location: Newyork, Job Description: This role will primarily be responsible for defining and leading the DevOps culture within ITS helping unite software development (Dev) with production and operations (Ops) into a consistent, integrated, and continuous Software Development Life Cycle. This role should work closely with development teams, operations teams, systems maintenance teams and management team to ensure that the development processes are optimized. • 4+ years of experience in continuous integration and delivery and/or Software Engineering. • Demonstrated experience working with various tools like Jenkins, Docker & Chef. • Experience in automated builds, deployments, rollbacks and troubleshooting. • Expertise with source code control and configuration management. • Experience with Databases (SQL Server, MongoDB) would be a plus. • Lead and build installers for software systems for various platforms. • Provide system engineering, continuous integration and delivery, configuration management and release management support for software builds throughout the development lifecycle. • Collaborate with Development, Delivery, Maintain, and Infrastructure, to ensure deep cohesion between the teams. • Help bringing in latest tooling and implement best practices from the market • Strong background in processes related to optimizing system delivery • Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills; able to work well in a team environment.
