* Responsible for establishing the standards, processes and practices that result in full code-based release management for all solutions and changes to production environments.


* Consistent with DevOps practices, the cloud systems specialist facilitates the use of continuous integration/continuous development tools in order to speed release delivery and improve solution quality.


* Performs technical planning, high level and detailed requirements definition, test planning and execution, software systems integration, and technical support for software systems and subsystems.


* Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting.


* Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.



Qualifications

Education and Experience:

* Bachelors and eight (8) years or more related experience; Masters and six (6) or more related experience.



Required Skills:

* Must have a minimum of four (4) years automating infrastructure, service delivery, and engineering site reliability.


* Experience is required, serving as an engineer for complex implementations in an agile, product-centric environment.


* Experience in modern data processing environments, including cloud computing (AWS, Azure), DevSecOps patterns and individuals must be capable of leading the technical strategy for agile development teams.


* Must have engineering skills, knowledge, and experience designing, developing, testing, operating, and sustaining secure computing architectures to include: cloud, data centers, and overall infrastructure optimization activities.


* Must be capable of collecting solution requirements, documenting requirements and performance objectives, detailing metrics and benchmarking measurements for evaluation in an independent fashion.



Clearance Requirement:

* Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an Active Secret.
