Our client a top-tier investment bank is looking for DevOps engineer for Equities Cash Tech Engineering group within Capital Markets department that supports a number of mission critical applications. We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer that has the passion to work in a high energy and fast-paced environment. A love for automation of mundane tasks using latest technology is appreciated.

Architecturally, the applications involve a combination of message processing (back-end) and a UI to view the trades and detailed drill down (front-end). The technology stack comprises of Java/J2EE, related technologies and an Oracle data warehouse. There are places in current SDLC process that have a lot of manual intervention and this could be automated in such a way that whole SDLC process is completed without the need for manual intervention.

Responsibilities

* Framework for Automation Of SDLC processes
* Data analysis and POC creation
* UI Automation framework using cutting edge tools such as selenium
* Data warehouse automation framework
* Performance engineering ( creating custom utilities and framework)
* SQL Queries and performance tuning of the application
* Continuous integration with Jenkins and Hudson

Skills

Must - Expert Knowledge of Java, design patterns, integration patterns

* Hands on knowledge of Unix shell commands
* Strong skills in continuous integration and continuous deployment and devops related tools ( Docker, openshift, kubernetes)
* Deep Understanding of source control system, such as Tortoise SVN
* Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
