Be a part of the Platform Services at SWIFT!

Platform Services is looking for creative and motivated DevOps Accelerator and Engineer, driving our Agile Transformation at SWIFT. Our team produces a highly compliant platforms that mainly include compute (VMware/container/storage), database (SQL/NoSQL), network interconnectivity (LoadBalancer/DNS/Firewall) services which forms core and critical infrastructure for any application/product groups at SWIFT. You will be part of this team at SWIFT.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be to - Design, develop, integrate third party components, test, install and support programs/systems. - Analyze technical and functional requirements and translate them into software solutions. Understand dependencies toward other systems and teams. - Evaluate and recommend technical feasibility and cost estimates of the proposed solutions. - Automate services offered and Prepare installation and operating procedures. - Provide technical assistance to colleagues and assist in resolving problems reported by other team members. Develop and maintain technical documentation. - Supporting the delivered software and being part of a 'Center of Expertise' problem solving team. Analyze support cases and, when appropriate, provide solutions following the established case management processes.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: University degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent discipline.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT/software delivery and Unix/Linux environments. 2+ years of experience in DevOps practices and toolset with strong focus on automation of provisioning and quality controls.

Essential Technical Skills:

* Operating System: Unix/Linux (sys admin level)
* Language: Python, Shell scripting
* DevOPS Tools: Ansible, Jira, Confluence


* CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Nexus, Bitbucket/git

Good to have:

* Exposure to container technology - Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes


* Basic knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases (Cassandra)


* RedHat Linux certification


* Familiarity with other scripting languages like JavaScript, Perl.


* Working knowledge of Packer & Terraform DevOps tools.


* Familiarity with Networking Technologies and working with DNS, Load Balancer (F5) and Firewall will be a plus.
