Working within the Product Data Solutions team, this role will support the business users in resolving product data issues in many systems and interfaces. Main systems include:

* Oracle MDM (PDH)


* Oracle EBS (TEP)


* Oracle OBIA


* Pearson PCS


* Pearson GHEPM


* Business Objects (Product Master)



This role will be responsible for the actioning the following routine tasks:

* Check, log and circulate the daily status of each interface\


*

Keep the issue log in line with the ServiceNow tracking system


* Use reporting tools to capture and circulate items that fail to interface.

* As knowledge of the interfaces increases this role would also contribute to resolving failed interfaces._

The role will also be responsible for the following ad hoc tasks:

* Raising new issues in ServiceNow highlighted by users.


* Working with the solutions team, technical support teams and users to resolve raised issues. This includes:


* Identifying impacted data


* Testing fixes


* Post go-live verification to ensure tested fixes were deployed correctly


* Contribute to data entry tasks for the wider Product Information department, especially those caused by technical issues.



Qualifications

Essential Skills:

* Intermediate skill in MS Excel (specifically VLOOKUPS)


* Problem Solving


* Tech Savvy - A basic understanding of how applications and interfaces work and the standard terminology used.



Desirables:

* Basic SQL


* Basic XML (preferably ONIX schema)


* Knowledge of system based reporting (Business Objects, OBIA)


* Oracle EBS experience


* Oracle MDM (PDH) experience
