Job Description

ver 8 Years of hands-on experience in ETL Tool (preferrably ODI, but Informatica and DataStage can be considered) and PL-SQL including ETL job design, development, trobleshooting.

Experience in leading small and medium teams and also extensive experience in onshore coordination.

Worked along with business analysts, developers, management professionals and with business users from various locations of customer to gather requirements.

Experience in Dimensional Modeling such as star schema, snow flake schema, creating Facts, Dimensions and Measures.

Worked on ODI 11g and ODI 12c studios.

Configured the Oracle Data Integrator ODI software tool in a three-tier Environment and performed periodic upgrades, performed source-to-target mappings, storage capacity planning, developing ETL

Strong SQL, PL/SQL ETL/ELT knowledge. Developed Complex database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers using SQL and PL/SQL to move the changed data across multiple environments using DB links.

Developed and delivered ETL scenarios in the context of Services Oriented Architecture SOA

Extensive experience in developing the load plans, packages and job scheduling. Good knowledge in installing ODI11g, ODI12c and to create Master and work repositories in different RDBMS products like Gathering requirements from users to develop interfaces and packages.

Good Understanding on ODI Navigators like Designer, Topology, Operator and Security Navigator.

Sound knowledge on knowledge modules like RKM, LKM, CKM, IKM, and JKM.

Strong knowledge on ODI Administration tasks and experience in creating master and work repository in the initial set up of the environment.

Knowledge on creating ODI procedures to create and populate in target systems. Having idea about KM customization.

Good experience on Deploying Scenarios from one environment to other environment.

Resolving Upgrade issues to make sure daily loads run efficiently.

Analyzed the Business requirement and developed physical and logical architectures based on source and targets Using Topology navigator in ODI.

Having good experience on Oracle Data Integrator Designer ODI to develop processes for extracting, cleansing, transforming, integrating, and loading data into data warehouse.

Worked on slowly changing dimensions SCD , Change data capture CDC as part of data warehousing concepts.

Extensive knowledge in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle SDLC Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Documentation . Exposure to version tracking control systems.
