The IS Software Team builds applications for running Mouser operations in 22 countries, with 16 languages and 14 currencies.

Successful candidates should meet the following criteria:

* If you have a minimum 4-year degree in Computer Science or a related field OR are confident, you can impress us in a technical interview.
* 5 - 7 years professional software development experience is required.
* Proficiency in these languages will jump start your career: Universe Basic, Python, Java, C
* Awareness of these web technologies: Javascript, JSON, HTML5, CSS, Ajax, and Pyramid
* Understanding of relational and NoSQL Databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
* Awareness of design tools such as OO Programming and UML.
* Recognition of Linux, AIX, and UNIX OS.

About the role:

We are looking for experienced Developers to join our ERP Software team. With a focus on improving collaboration with the business, your core responsibilities will include:

* Ability to learn development languages quickly.
* Taking ownership of simple to complex development projects.
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of key system features
* Will work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
* Will work in a fast-paced environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
* You will prepare technical requirements and software design specifications
* We will train for Universe Basic language, to work on our ERP system.
