Job Description

Under general supervision, develops, tests debugs, maintains and documents information systems applications. Performs code walk-throughs, reviews and audits. Executes complete life cycle for simple to moderately complex application components based on design specifications.

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Performs moderately complex maintenance, problem resolution and enhancements to software applications.
* Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written; designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs.
* Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties; assists in development and documentation of user manuals.
* Makes suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements; partners with business process experts to learn and understand problems with software.
* Develops moderate to complex modules based on design specifications, while adhering to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques and development methodologies.
* Analyzes functional design/overall application technical design and develops detailed module technical specifications for moderate to complex components.
* Designs small to medium systems.
* Develops detailed design specifications for based on functional requirements.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Applies principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Work productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis.
* Respond positively to direction and feedback on performance.
* Consistently maintain professional and appropriate demeanor.

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
* 3 years related experience required.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Team player, self-starter, motivated, and multi-task oriented.
* Ability to prioritize work requirements.
