About this Job:

Our team is looking for a Back-End Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.

Experience should include:

* Explicit and extensive agile delivery experience
* Hands-on experience in of Java or Scala
* Hands-on experience in test automation
* Good understanding of designing RESTful APIs
* Good understanding of Micro-service architectures
* Good understanding of cloud computing, including AWS (Serverless Technologies is a plus)
* Familiarity with GitHub
* Exposure to a NoSQL Data Base (MongoDB, Neo4J, elasticsearch, cassandra) a plus

Additional Knowledge, Skills, Traits & Abilities:

* Strong algorithm design, logical and reasoning skills
* Ability to deliver POCs, MVPs, Experiments, technology evaluations following design thinking practices
* Team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
