U.S. Bank is seeking a DevOps Engineer with build/deployment automation experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. In this role you will be part of the team established to configure, develop and maintain our mobile banking application DevOps pipeline, including creating/supporting key processes towards building/maturing our CI/CD goals. You'll be working closely with the IT Delivery Managers, developers and Architecture groups while collaborating with several lines of business.

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

* Implement key processes in support of automated build/deploy/test
* Recommend solutions to improve efficiency with a focus on core architecture, technology strategies and standards
* Train application developers on DevOps processes and tools
* Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
* Review, analyze, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
* Create and recommend improvements to build/deployment process based on assessment of organizational needs
* Collaborate closely with teams in all stages of software development lifecycle including design, development and testing of the system
* Guide technical staff and business partners to investigate, review, and solve complex, multidisciplinary business problems
* Monitor operating efficiency and organizational needs of existing applications/tools and recommend technical solutions

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
* At least five years of experience with developing and implementing applications

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
* At least three years of experience with developing and implementing applications, including automated DevOps build/deploy and test automation integration with common industry tools such as: Docker, UCD, various scripting languages (PowerShell, Groovy, Shell), Git, TFS on SCM side
