Dev Ops Engineer

Millennium, a leading global investment management firm is assembling a new specialized team of engineers, quants and data scientists to design, build, deploy and operate their next generation research and trading capabilities. Technical Qualifications

* 3+ years of development experience in Python
* 2+ years of experience with the automation of configuration-management and CI/CD pipelines
* Results-oriented, can deliver quality systems with quick turnaround

Highly valued

* Experience with open source DevOps projects
* Cloud DevOps experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
* Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker / Kubernetes)

Preferred

* Proficiency in at least one of the following: C/C++, Java, Scala, or C#
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Linux command line

Other Qualifications

* BA/BS degree in a quantitative field
* Excellent listening, and communication (both oral and written) skills
* Self-starter and critical thinker, takes ownership of own projects and makes improvement suggestions for the entire infrastructure
* Proactive, assertive and attentive to details
* Can work independently and in a collaborative environment.
* Can handle several projects with different priorities at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent self-management and problem-solving skills
* Quick learner
