As a Senior IT Desktop Support Technician at Western Asset Management, you will assist with support and resolution of service desk incidents, escalations, systems/operations tasks and/or projects. This position involves hands on day-to-day IT operations and system support to personnel within a blend of corporate and technical environments.

Candidates should be self-starters and have the ability to work both independently and with all levels of employees including Senior Executives (C-Suite). The successful candidate will have excellent outward behavior and attitude to interpersonal relationships, as well as an appetite for learning and a desire to deliver quality and timely solutions. This role needs an owner who is as passionate about the success of our team members as it is about the technology that helps support and drive our growth.


What You'll Do

* Resolve daily software and hardware (break/fix) issues
* Deploy new and upgrading software and applications
* Setting up new users, systems - including PC's, printers, scanners, etc.
* Imaging of new systems
* Maintaining desktop - hardware/software standards
* Maintenance and support of laptops
* Responsible for helpdesk calls, ticket management and processes


About You

* 7 year experience as Desktop Support Technician.
* Extensive knowledge of Windows 7 and 10 in an Enterprise Environment
* Experience with Windows 7 to Windows 10 migration projects
* Extensive Knowledge of Office Applications, Office 2013-2019
* Experience with Security Software: McAfee, BigFix, Cylance
* Experience with Supporting Mac and Apple IOS Devices using Airwatch and JAMF
* Experience with IT asset and inventory management
* Experience in Microsoft SCCM Knowledge is plus, including Imaging and Deploying Workstations\Applications using SCCM
* Experience in supporting video conferencing systems using Polycom, Webex, BlueJeans, etc.
* Experience in supporting Mobile Device Management.
* Support of printers and copiers.
* Experience with disaster recovery support


* Ability to have good conflict management.
* Experience in working in a fast paced environment and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects at the same time.
