UNCLE Credit Union is seeking a Desktop Support Technician. This position located in Livermore, CA reports to the AVP, IT Manager, and assume overall responsibility for computer support services of software and hardware for the organization's employees.

Main Job Duties:

* Oversees user add/move/changes.
* Physical setting up of computers and software system installations for various computer applications and programs.
* Identifying and solving any problems that affect computer operating systems.
* Maintenance and upgrading of computer systems or offering recommendations on updates as needed.
* Training staff and orienting them on how to use computer hardware and software systems.
* Troubleshooting routine problems, and maintenance and tracking of IT ticket software.

Education and Experience:

Requires basic knowledge of data processing fundamentals and equipment operation. Must have a college degree. An understanding of credit union operations with a minimum of 2 years credit union experience preferred.
