The Challenge:

Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting a government client? We're looking for a desktop system engineer who specializes in large scale Operating System (OS) upgrades with a solid background in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to help us deploy and maintain the Microsoft Semi-Annual Channel (SAC) operating system upgrades to ~18,000 users, including updating a Windows 10 OS that currently build 1709: build 1809 will provide the client with a more secure environment for agency customers and enable the latest technology features and updates.

As a desktop engineer on our project, you'll test, deploy, and maintain Windows 10 OS upgrades through SCCM, update Microsoft Windows Imaging File Format (WIM) drivers, software and application packages, and provide desk side support to the client's user community. You'll provide your clients insight into their updates through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to improve the deployment methodology to help your customers meet their needs. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve the client's release model initiative.
