Job Description

Maintain the Degree Advice system through coding the Ellucian Degree Works software which supports school and college academic advising for undergraduate and graduate students. Interface with academic administrators to coordinate curriculum requirements. Perform coding of curricula changes and perform testing and quality control. Maintain consistent code standards and practices across campus, avoiding unnecessary customization. Coordinate table updates for Degree Audit and Mainframe tables. Maintain curricula degree audit documentation for all programming changes, system upgrades and code testing. Troubleshoot and resolve coding errors. Manage system reports and write new reports using query tool.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S., strong communication and customer service skills, analytical and problem solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, average computer knowledge, and one to three years of experience, preferably in higher education working in academic advising or a registrar department. Experience with Ellucian Degree Works or another degree auditing software is a plus.
