The mission of this project is to migrate, consolidate, and modernize disparate applications, application environments, and application development software to the Manpower Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud environment. Establish an Agile enterprise approach to cloud application development. Provide a stable and sustainable cloud native enterprise software development platform that combines intelligent automation and enterprise code development to deliver powerful business applications. Rapidly deploy and easily extend and change applications to meet strategic business needs. Improve customer experience, achieve operational excellence, and streamline our compliance. The end goal is to deliver a Business intelligence (BI) tool that leverages software and services to transform Manpower data into actionable intelligence that informs M&RAs strategic and tactical business decisions.

Position Description:

Provide highly technical expertise in the use of DBMS. Evaluate and recommend available DBMS products to support validated user requirements. Define file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications. Test and assist in the implementation of changes or new database designs. Monitor database usage and statistics. Knowledge of relational database environment.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Education and Certifications

Required Bachelors Degree or in lieu of this an associates degree with 10+ years of experience working on database management projects in support of DoD or other large entities.

Knowledge and Experience

Extensive experience in support of the Government providing database management services to include knowledge or implementing and testing new software changes and following required security procedures and guidance. Knowledge of and experience working in a relational database environment preferred.
