POSITION OVERVIEW

This position requires an experienced candidate with technical skills and knowledge to conduct database design and maintenance for Operation Support Officer (OSO) products. The selected candidate will maintain and potentially modify production database and review analysis of production metrics. They will also data mine and analyze open source information in support of OSO-related tasks. In this role the individual will be responsible for identifying and collecting key performance indicators and producing customer reports on the overall health of DO OSO production for internal and external customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

* Describe the most important duties (major responsibilities that are critical to the role) and those that the position will spend the most time on first.
* Design, administer and evaluate survey instruments designed to measure key aspects of DO Offices and produce reports on the performance.
* Apply quantitative research methods to gain in-depth understanding of the requirements of customers the utilization of products.
* Track products to ensure they meet DO Offices production goals.
* Maintain and modify SharePoint portals utilized by Operational Support elements.
* Produce metrics and metrics analysis and related reports.
* Brief products produced in workshops or other community venues for the purposes of intelligence sharing and best practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education

* Bachelor's Degree (preferred):

Major: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods, Operations Research or Program and Project Evaluation.

Experience

Senior Level -

* Bachelor's AND 8 years relevant experience OR 10 years of relevant experience w/o degree
* US government clearance: Active or Current TS w/ a current SCI and Polygraph.
* Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.
* Have at least three years of national-level HUMINT targeting in direct support of operational HUMINT Collectors.
* Basic personal computer skills for Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Mid Level -

* Bachelor's AND 5 years relevant experience OR 8 years of relevant experience w/o degree
* US government clearance: Active or Current TS w/ a current SCI and Polygraph.
* Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.
* Basic personal computer skills for Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Junior Level -

* Bachelor's AND 3 years relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience w/o degree
* US government clearance: Active or Current TS w/ a current SCI and Polygraph.
* Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.
* Basic personal computer skills for Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Specialized Knowledge/Skills Desired:

* Have experience in MS technologies such as vb.net
* Have at least two years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods
* Have at least two years of experience operating and maintaining database.
* Be a certified Data Base Administrator (DBA)
