Job Description:

* Hands on experience in Infosphere DataStage 9.1.
* Experience in designing and creating simple to complex DataStage parallel jobs.
* Good understanding and knowledge in DataStage parallel architecture and partitioning.
* Ability to troubleshoot and tune DataStage jobs to determine and fix code and performance issues.
* Good understanding of RDBMS - Partitioning, Indexing, tablespaces etc and ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues related to queries.
* Strong SQL skills and ability to create simple to complex queries as per the requirements.
* Good knowledge of Data Warehouse basics and techniques.
* Good knowledge in DB2 basic functionality and generic utilities.
* Good Knowledge on Autosys is required.
* Experience working with the full life cycle development process, which includes analysis, design, development and testing.
* Ability to work with clients and application partners and various teams in gathering business requirements and project understanding.
* Good Communication Skills.
* Self starter who can independently complete assigned tasks without the need for follow ups.
* Get it done attitude, and takes pride in delivering superior quality work on schedule.
* Having Prior Experience in Onshore - Offshore model is an advantage.
