We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler who can create maps of how data is flowing throughout the enterprise.

Over the past 8 months, our engineering team has put together an enterprise system architecture for a data management platform that has two primary components: 1) data virtualization that pulls data from several systems and 2) a data platform that enables data mining on customers.

The company we'll be working with is a dental insurance provider.

Key Responsibilities

* Current State: Build out the current state enterprise logical data model.
* Future State: Design future-state data map.
* Work will revolve around identifying where data resides and putting together the data model based on those findings.
* This will require 1) working closely with stakeholders and 2) going into the systems to determine where data is stored.
* You must know how to write SQL statements and perform queries to take sample of data to see what data is stored.

The data currently resides is in MSFT SQL server and Oracle databases.
