Job Description

This role is focused on developing data solutions and integrating data across enterprise systems for enabling the business to answer strategic questions and enhance our reporting services and platforms. The successful candidate will be process driven, self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly learn and carry out a variety of tasks. The candidate will be responsible for managing and prioritizing requests from various business analysts. Providing accurate data and quality to ensure accuracy of user reports and dashboards for decision making and business analysis. Experience with Finance, HR, Marketing and Operations teams a must. Familiarity with hospitality industry concepts and challenges a plus.

Responsibilities

* Support functional owners and business analysts with complex data analysis and business intelligence initiatives.
* Work closely with the end users, systems designers, and developers to build a data warehouse, establish enterprise common language, and create data dictionary
* Support end user questions and provide high level training on data relationships, tools, mapping, integration timing, data flow, etc.
* Gather and translate business requirements into logical physical data models.
* Monitor and debug data import failure and address issues.
* Develop ETL data workflows and code for new data integrations and maintain/enhance existing workflows and code
* Document ETL information and conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting and support.
* Develop process and mechanisms to certify data accuracy.
* Integrate third-party solutions for data migration systems.
* Support data flows between business applications and provides solutions for managing and integrating data between operational systems, data repositories, and reporting applications. This includes but is not limited to ETL, APIs, stored procedures, views, and functions.
* Create business relevant reports and dashboards in partnership with end user.

Skills and QualificationsTechnical Qualifications

* Experience in building integrations with REST and SOAP API, JMS, etc.
* Experience in building integration solutions with various enterprise cloud applications like Azure, Workday, Salesforce, etc.
* Knowledge of system and software engineering architecture principles, concepts, and best practices
* Excellent test planning and execution skills
