We are seeking an experienced a Data Hub Engineer to join a diverse team providing software and systems engineering. This role will coordinate multiple simultaneous software development project efforts and define best practices and standards. This position will be a client facing Data Hub Engineer who has a strong grounding in IT, ranging from development through operations and infrastructure, including Cloud. The position requires extensive involvement on-site with clients as well as multiple contractor teams. The environment consists of data platform containing administrative management data from structure sources including, but not limited to, human resources, facilities, identity management, and budget. The scope of this work includes connecting the existing Business Intelligence and Data Visualization software to the new data platform and revising the existing BIIS reporting content to properly work using the migrated data in the new platform. Processes used to ingest and integrate data into the new platform.

Responsibilities/Duties:

* Designs and implements Enterprise Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics solutions.
* Conduct current state assessment of the architecture, infrastructure, tools, technologies, risks, and impacts, expectations and contributed to proposing recommendations for supporting the Enterprise Data Hub environment.
* Participate in various project assignments, including analysis development, testing, and deployment and support efforts including release management activities along with participation in design and code reviews.
* Perform installation and upgrade of server software as well as troubleshooting efforts encountered during those activities.
* Create and maintain architectural, design, and installation documentation.
* Research and analyze data processing functions, methods, and procedures and perform system capacity and performance levels.
* Monitor program execution for expected performance and support for Informatica infrastructure and environmental issues.
* Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation for system software applications.
* Identify, escalate, and document production impact issues for the environment to confirmed delivery for the client and business notification.

Required Skills:

* 12+ years of Government contracting experience leading development teams and projects
* Proficiency in common data integration patterns and processes including: ETL, APIs, Messaging Bus, Pub-Sub, flat files
* Experience with IT projects that include Agile development and Cloud-based solutions
* Experience in creating architecture and design documentation and knowledge of data engineering tools & technologies
* Experience successfully leading the delivery of complex enterprise software development projects, especially related to data integration and data sharing
* Excellent verbal and writing skills, including the ability to facilitate effective meetings and to develop and deliver presentations/materials to various levels of audiences
* High degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT-related concepts effectively with executive-level management and customers
* Proven experience managing multiple, concurrent IT projects
* Resourceful and creative in solving problems and overcoming obstacles
* Attention to detail and highly organized

Education / Certification Requirements:

* BS in Computer Science or a related Information Technology field / Master's in Computer Science, Information systems, or Computer engineering preferred
* Agile related certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) highly desired
* EPLC experience
* ETL experience
* Informatica Certified Designed is a plus
* Teradata Certified Professional is a plus

Clearance Requirements:

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 security clearance.
