Job Description

The Data Feeds Analyst is responsible for integrating clients' portfolios into Addepar, consulting clients on their trickiest portfolio data challenges, and ensuring data quality and timeliness through improvement projects. To fill this role we are looking for individuals who have exceptional analytical skills, portfolio accounting or securities knowledge, excellent verbal, written, and client presentation skills, and bring an engineering approach to all problems they encounter.

Responsibilities

* Partner with data providers and internal development teams to configure business logic for new financial data integrations
* Build and maintain data feeds that transform client data into Addepar's Global Financial Format
* Own all aspects of the data feed build on new projects - including technical and project management components
* Participate in broad company initiatives to stand up new product functionality or services
* Collaborate with Sales, Services, and Engineering teams to resolve data issues and provide exceptional client experience
* Continually improve internal operating processes by enforcing standards and defining best practices

Requirements

* Deep knowledge/experience of the financial industry, securities modeling, post-trade processing or back-office systems
* Technical understanding of how ETL and data flows work whether programmatically or via commercial ETL products like Informatica, SSIS, etc.
* Strong SQL and Excel analytical skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools
* Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python) and understanding of object oriented programming concepts a strong plus
* Financial reporting experience (with a Business Intelligence tool or bespoke product)
* Working experience with programming languages such as Java, C, or R
* Ability to problem solve and understand key drivers of Addepar business
* Adhere to Addepar values and team collaboration mentality
