As a Data Engineer at PEAK6, you'll be integral to maintaining and improving the firm's processes and procedures by collaborating with traders and technology to advance the firm's position as an innovative leader in the industry. You'll be responsible for:

* Designing and implementing ETL components and schemas for new datasets
* Developing relationships with Trading, Technology, Analytics, and other end users to understand the domain, problems, and requirements
* Provide level 2 support for data quality issues
* Creating daily business reports that combine data from various sources

You'll gain loads of experience in this role but before you do, you should have:

* Strong SQL skills
* Familiarity with Python and Linux
* Ability to understand mathematical concepts and formulas
* Experience supporting data systems and pipelines and troubleshooting data issues making necessary changes to data systems
