Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining and implementing defined data governance standards. Will work with the data management team to troubleshoot issues data issues. Day-to-day responsibilities will center around the maintenance of customer data, which will require interfacing with the sales team.

Essential Job Functions:

* Restructure customer data to meet the business needs, including merging of account data within Salesforce.com and Oracle
* Create and maintain the linkage between accounts in Salesforce.com and Oracle, using information from the sales team, the data management team and online research.
* Create and modify customer master data to data standards
* Research, append, and remove duplicate customer records
* Conduct master data audits on existing and newly set up customers
* Work with Global Process Owner and business areas to improve master data processes
* Assist with writing documentation as needed for customer master training, policies, standards, controls and procedures and train accordingly
* Leverage Oracle and other source systems to maintain quality customer data
* Participate in projects related to and reliant on customer master data

Knowledge and Experience:

* Knowledge of computer system applications: Microsoft Office (E-mail, Excel and Word), Oracle ERP, Salesforce.com
* Experience with master data management and data tools preferred

Skills and Abilities:

* Advanced Excel skills
* Ability to work with large sets of data from 1000 to 100,000 records
* Keen eye to spot discrepancies
* Outstanding organizational skills
* Proficient in Word and Power Point
* Ability to make decisions based on guidance provided
* Strong attention to detail with a passion for accuracy
